The delightful ladies of Stan Hywet Needlework Guild (Akron, Ohio) asked me to design a sampler for them. I had no idea where to start until one charming guild member sent me a book of the Stan Hywet Hall and Gardens. The sampler grew from there, a tribute to the magnificent home of the Seiberling family and the SHNG.
